Look at the seemingly authentic evidence presented by someone calling themselves ''Harry Rag'' above. 'Seemingly,' because on reflection, the thoughtful reader will realise that it has about as much authenticity as the charlatan with his pseudonym who posted it. For example, consider the list of blood and DNA mixtures. It appears to present some pretty damning factual evidence against Amanda. In fact, it is shallow and without substance.

As Amanda had been living in 7 Via della Pergola for 2 months prior to the murder, the observations on the list describing certain conditions in the cottage at the time of the murder are hardly surprising. What's more, for all their dramatic declaration, they can hardly be understood as describing viable evidence. Please reconsider this list in light of the fact that this is Amanda's home:

Meredith Kercher's blood was found on:

Mixed with Amanda’s DNA on the ledge of the basin. (The basin Amanda washed in every day).

Mixed with Amanda’s DNA on the bidet. (The bidet Amanda washed in every day).

Mixed with Amanda's DNA on a box of Q Tip cotton swabs. (The box of Q Tips belonged to Amanda so presumably, she had handled the box!!).

Mixed with Amanda's DNA in the hallway. (The hallway Amanda had to use to get in and out of the cottage every day)

Mixed with Amanda's DNA on the floor of Filomena’s room, where the break-in was staged.
(Presumably, Amanda ventured into this room to investigate why the door was open and there was broken glass all over the place).

This is the elephant in the room: you might as well look at your wife, husband, brother, sister, or whoever you live with, and wonder why their DNA is mixed with yours in the bathroom and in the hall of your home.

I'll just pick something else too which shows how much this person is wasting your time. For
example, this information was presented in court in June 2009:

''A woman’s bloody shoeprint, which matched Amanda Knox’s foot size, was found on a pillow under Meredith’s body. The bloody shoeprint was incompatible with Meredith’s shoe size.''

On September 18th, 2009, Francesco Vinci, the forensics expert, testified about two vague traces of bloody shoe-prints that were found on a pillow under the victim's body. While the police believed that one was a partial print of the bottom of Rudy Guede's right sneaker – a Nike Outbreak2 - and the other the heel of a smaller shoe, probably a woman's, Vinci testified conclusively that the original assumptions about the marks on the pillow were wrong, and that more thorough analysis carried out subsequently proved that BOTH prints were from a left shoe, the Nike Outbreak 2 already cited.

Thank you.

Harry Rag is responsible for the website 'True Justice for Meredith Kercher', he knew neither Meredith Kercher or knows Amanda Knox personally. Yet his life seems to be dedicated to the now rather desperate cause of finding Amanda Knox guilty.

Harry Rag has a belief - or a box as it were - that they are guilty. And his mission is to fill up this box with 'evidence', scant as it is - and the reliability can be called into question with every single piece - and then copy and paste this onto every comment board on the internet. And in doing so he ignores the other box, the one with the evidence of innocence. Interestingly, he likes to suggest that the US is under some kind of conspiratorial news blackout and the real story isn't being told, perhaps forgetting that most people do have internet connections these days. The same 'evidence' he presents has been considered by many, many others who have the intelligence and reasoning ability that leads them to an entirely different conclusion.

I post very occasionally because injustice doesn't sit well with me. As the saying goes, 'One injustice somewhere is a threat to justice everywhere'.

The DNA on the blade - this knife was in the kitchen drawer at Rafaelle Sollicito's flat and was picked out because it was shiny - seriously. The police thought it was a little 'too clean'. Amanda's DNA was on the handle because she had used it for cooking with. Meredith's DNA was a possible 20% match. But the amount was so small that it could only be tested once - this 'evidence' would have been laughed at in a US and UK courtroom. Not only this, it has been proven that the knife could not have been responsible many of the wounds on Meredith's body.

The bra clasp was left for six weeks on the floor of Meredith's bedroom. There's a video on the internet showing the level of clearly sloppy police work, where the forensics team hand it around to each other before putting it in a bag. There's a very, very high chance it was contaminated.

Most telling is the fact that this was a horrible, brutal crime. Yet, not one piece of evidence was found in Meredith's bedroom that had Amanda's DNA on it. If the murder was carried out in a way that was suggested by the prosecutor, there WOULD have been evidence in the room the murder took place. I could go over each piece of 'evidence' Harry Rag has presented - each and every one had been either disproved or a perfectly reasonable explanation has been given.

A good site is Dr Frank Sfarzo's at http://perugia-shock.blogspot.com/. He didn't start off as a supporter of Amanda Knox, he simply had the sense to realise that a media fiction of another Amanda Knox had been created, who was being subjected to a modern day witch-hunt in Italy. He had the intelligence and clarity of thought to realise what had actually happened, and the independence of mind to not take what the media said at face value. I once posted a comment on his site expressing annoyance with 'Harry Rag', above, and Dr Sfarzo immediately removed it. I'm not sure Harry Rag enforces the same rigorously high standards on his own website.

Frank Sfarzo lives in Perugia and knows many of the people involved personally - including the prosecutor who prosecuted Amanda Knox. The same prosecutor who was recently convicted and sentenced to one year and one month in jail for falsifying evidence in an unrelated case. Yet he is appealing so won't be going to prison immediately. And in Italy, he is STILL allowed to continue acting as a prosecutor whilst his appeal in underway.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, who is capable of looking at this case without being clouded with emotion or some desperate need for Amanda Knox to be guilty, can be convinced of her guilt. There's not even a believable motive - the prosecution changed the motive a few times throughout the trial. At first it was a sex game and eventually it was because Amanda Knox just simply hated Meredith Kercher. I remember when I first heard about this case, nearly two and half years ago now. Out of curiosity, I had a look on facebook and saw Amanda Knox was friends with Meredith Kercher. I can't say I've ever experience this level of hate, but if I hated someone to the extent that I was planning to kill them, premeditated murder, I certainly wouldn't be swapping comments and sharing pictures with them less than a day earlier. There is absolutely nothing in Amanda Knox's past to suggest she would one day decide to kill her roommate because she didn't like her. If she even had a nasty temper or an evil streak, someone would have come forward and sold their story to the press. As it is, everyone who knew her personally are absolutely convinced of her innocence.

Nobody can say how they would react when they come home and find their roommate murdered. But the newspapers seemed to forget that this has happened when they set about destroying her character. In Italy, the CCTV of her buying underwear was shown repeatedly to show how sex obsessed she was. Not because she couldn't get into her house and needed clean underwear. Stretching at the police station after sitting in a chair for hours became 'cartwheels'. These fictions have been projected onto her by an unscrupulous press who need to sell newspapers.

Nobody who believes in Amanda Knox's innocence is saying for a second that this wasn't a horrible, tragic crime. But what is happening to her and Rafaelle is a tragedy too. Even if people can't change their minds enough to believe her innocence, the case for reasonable doubt is overwhelming.

The evidence against Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito is overwhelming.

Amanda Knox’s DNA was found on:

1. On the double DNA knife and a number of independent forensic experts - Dr. Patrizia Stefanoni, Dr. Renato Biondo and Professor Francesca Torricelli - categorically stated that Meredith’s DNA was on the blade.

2. Mixed with Meredith’s blood on the ledge of the basin.

3. Mixed with Meredith’s blood on the bidet.

4. Mixed with Meredith blood on a box of Q Tip cotton swabs.

5. Mixed with Meredith’s blood in the hallway.

6. Mixed with Meredith’s blood on the floor of Filomena’s room, where the break-in was staged.

7. On Meredith’s bra according to Dr. Stefanoni AND Raffaele Sollecito’s forensic expert, Professor Vinci.

Amanda Knox’s footprints were found set in Meredith’s blood in two places in the hallway of the new wing of the cottage. One print was exiting her own room, and one print was outside Meredith’s room, facing into the room. These bloody footprints were only revealed under luminol.

A woman’s bloody shoeprint, which matched Amanda Knox’s foot size, was found on a pillow under Meredith’s body. The bloody shoeprint was incompatible with Meredith’s shoe size.

Two independent imprint experts categorically excluded the possibility that the bloody footprint on the blue bathmat could belong to Rudy Guede. Lorenzo Rinaldi stated:

“You can see clearly that this bloody footprint on the rug does not belong to Mr. Guede, but you can see that it is compatible with Sollecito.”

The other imprint expert print expert testified that the bloody footprint on the blue bathmat matched the precise characteristics of Sollecito’s foot.

An abundant amount of Raffaele Sollecito's DNA was found on Meredith's bra clasp. Meredith's bra was removed some time after she had been killed and Rudy Guede had fled the scene.

The murder dynamic implicates Knox and Sollecito.

Barbie Nadeau wrote the following:

"Countless forensic experts, including those who performed the autopsies on Kercher's body, have testified that more than one person killed her based on the size and location of her injuries and the fact that she didn't fight back—no hair or skin was found under her fingernails."

Judge Paolo Micheli claimed that Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito knew precise details about Meredith's murder that they could have only known if they were present when she was killed.

Amanda Knox voluntarily admitted that she involved in Meredith's murder in her handwritten note to the police on 6 November 2007. She stated on at least four separate occasions that she was at the cottage when Meredith was killed. She also claimed that Sollecito was at the cottage.

Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito both gave multiple conflicting alibis and lied repeatedly. Their lies were exposed by telephone and computer records, and by CCTV footage. Neither Knox nor Sollecito have credible alibis for the night of the murder despite three attempt each. At the trial, Sollecito refused to corroborate Knox's alibi that she was at his apartment.

Legal expert Stefano Maffei stated the following:

"There were 19 judges who looked at the evidence over the course of two years, faced with decisions on pre-trial detention, review of such detention, committal to trial, judgment on criminal responsibility. They all agreed, at all times, that the evidence was overwhelming."
