Tony Kornheiser Suspended For His Remarks on “SportsCenter” Hannah Storm’s Attire
ESPN host Tony Kornheiser was suspended from his talk show “Pardon the Interruption” for two weeks for his comments on the radio last week about the attire of “SportsCenter” anchor Hannah Storm.
Tony Kornheiser publicized his deferral on his Washington D.C. radio show on Tuesday morning, calling his comments about Storm immoderate and unintelligent.
Tony Kornheiser said, “As the consequence of this, I have been sent to the sidelines of PTI for a while.”
ESPN in a written release called Kornheiser’s comments unsuitable.
John Skipper, ESPN vice president for content said, “Upsetting and individual comments for example the ones made by Kornheiser are not suitable and encompass major penalty”.
Tony Kornheiser, who is 61, described an outfit of Storm, which she was wearing at ESPN last week as “horrific.”
