Transformer Sequel Front Runner at Razzies

The Sequel to Transformers is being touted as one of the frontrunners at the Razzie Awards, which honour the year’s worst films.
Revenge of the Fallen, which was Michael Bay, leads the way with seven nominations, in categories such as worst actress for Megan Fox and worst film.
Another film to feature prominently is Will Ferrell’s Lost Land of the Lost which is also nominated in seven categories.
Other films in the running for the awards, which as usual are held the day prior to the Oscars, include GI Joe and Old Dogs.
Sandra Bullock could potentially win a Razzie and Oscar double this year, as her appearance in the comedy All About Steve leads to her nomination for worst screen couple along with Bradley Cooper.
Meanwhile Her role in the movie The Blind Side has led to her being tipped Oscar nomination, with the role leading to her already picking up a number of best actress awards..
Robert Pattinson the British actor is nominated for worst screen couple, along with Kristen Stewart, for the teen sensation film Twilight Saga: New Moon.

All of the Jonas Brothers take their place in the worst actor category alongside previously esteemed actors such as Eddie Murphy for Imagine That, Steve Martin for Pink Panther 2 and John Travolta for Old Dogs.
Kelly Preston, Travolta’s wife, features in the worst actress category also for Old Dogs, and she is competing against Sienna Miller for GI Joe, Julie White from Transformers, Ali Larter in Obsessed and Candice Bergen role in Bride Wars.
This year the Razzies also has a special award for the worst film of the previous decade, with 5 films nominated – Battlefield Earth, Gigl, Swept Away, Freddy Got Fingered and I Know Who Killed Me
The Razzies were created by John Wilson as the comedic awards prior to the Oscars; the awards are voted for by members of the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation, of which anyone is eligible.
