Tiger Woods checks into sex clinic

The world’s number one golfer, Tiger Woods, is reportedly being treated at the Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services facility in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Workers could be seen outside the facility building an addition to the fencing surrounding the building to deter photographers.

A picture purported to be of Woods at the facility has surfaced on the internet as television satellite trucks began gathering on adjacent neighborhood streets. Woods has not been seen in public since November 27, when he was involved in a traffic accident outside his Florida home as a scandal involving his admitted infidelity has led to more than a dozen women claiming to have been his lovers.

Pine Grove is known as one of the country’s premiere addiction treatment centers. It offers outpatient, inpatient and residential treatment for a range of psychological and behavioral disorders and specializes in sexual addiction.

In December Woods revealed he was taking an indefinite break from golf in order to save his marriage, having admitted to being unfaithful to wife Elin.

Earlier in the year, a former director of the facility, Dr. Stefanie Carnes, said: “We believe this is a brain disease that people are struggling with like alcoholism is a disease. So people really deserve treatment and help.”

Officials at the clinic would neither confirm or deny Woods’ presence at Pine Grove, citing state of Mississippi privacy law.
