Louie Vito and Shaun White Move Forward in Men’s Halfpipe Finals
Snowboarders Louie Vito and Shaun White advanced to the finals of Men’s snowboarding halfpipe at the 2010 Winter Olympics at Vancouver today. Louie Vito qualified third whereas Shaun White qualified first in their respective qualifying showings at Cypress Mountain.
As per the Olympic halfpipe rules the top three qualifiers from each heat move forward past the semifinals straight to the finals, as if Shaun White actually wanted the added cushion provided by a time out round.
The weather was lastly playing good with the boarders, with sunny and chilly forecast and decent, even though not perfect snow conditions.
Louis Vito is an American pro snowboarder, born in Columbus, Ohio and brought up in Bellefontaine, growing up exterior to Mad River Mountain. Louis went to the Stratton Mountain School in Vermont and turned for professional snowboarding in 2005. He went to Utah after high school but continued his snowboarding career. The hard work finally paid off and the ace snowboarder has got results for his patience and hard work.
