Cleveland Cavaliers are getting Antawn Jamison
Antawn Jamison, the Washington Wizards forward, has now been acquired by the Cleveland Cavaliers in a six-player, three team trade, which went on this Wednesday. Antawn Jamison, the six foot nine inch giant of a player, has a record that is the envy of many players. He has played 41 games in this season alone averaging 20.5 points which itself speaks for the achievements of this wonderful player. He also has to his credits 8.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists as an average for these 41 games.
The posting of 278 career doubles- doubles requires mention as well. Jamison has a mentionable $28 million and two years still left on his contract. This in itself speaks of the popularity and demand of Jamison. The Cavaliers have not only acquired Jamison but have also been able to rope in Sebastian Telfair from LA in their team. The Wizards are also sending Drew Gooden to the Clippers.
It has been chase from the last season for the Cavaliers before they were finally were able to acquire Jamison. In another trade, it is known that the Suns were trying to get Hickson and were also trying to get Stoudemire for the expiring salary of Llgauska.
