Wearing the Shriners’ fez or signature hat, and jacket, volunteer Dick Langran cheered clientele at the Dallas restaurant to throw in.

He said, “We’re just welcoming people and are telling them that all the proceedings made here goes to Shriner Hospitals”.

IHOP National Pancake Day this hope to raise even more money then what they did last year and as per their expectations they hope to raise $1.75 million this year. If they make it then their total will become $5 million in the five years since the first National Pancake Day.

Earlier today Philadelphia Eagles announced of releasing their veteran running back Brian Westbrook and with the news ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt thought he had a special on air interview with the former Philly Brian Westbrook. But it wasn’t exactly what he had in mind and the guy he was interviewing looked like Brian but wasn’t Brian Westbrook.

Instead of being Westbrook, the guy Scott Van Pelt was interviewing was notorious Howard Stern disciple Captain Janks, who’s well-known for making fools out of people by doing practical joke calls.

Tony Kornheiser publicized his deferral on his Washington D.C. radio show on Tuesday morning, calling his comments about Storm immoderate and unintelligent.

Tony Kornheiser said, “As the consequence of this, I have been sent to the sidelines of PTI for a while.”

ESPN in a written release called Kornheiser’s comments unsuitable.

John Skipper, ESPN vice president for content said, “Upsetting and individual comments for example the ones made by Kornheiser are not suitable and encompass major penalty”.

Tony Kornheiser, who is 61, described an outfit of Storm, which she was wearing at ESPN last week as “horrific.”

The trial of Amanda Knox has been exceedingly contentious, due to bureaucratic differences stuck between the Italian and American court systems.  The adjudicators were able to see an assortment of reports in the media, and a lot of them feel that the media was able to affect the jury.

Amanda Knox was sentenced 26 years for her part in the crimes, and she’s presently operational on a plea.  Her folks and friends have been working forcefully to maintain her innocence by getting her story out there.

In doing so, her parents were on Oprah today with the subject. Amanda’s father Curt Knox said “She’s totally guiltless. You go throughout a trial by media against a trial within the courtroom. Within the courtroom, there are not the facts to come up with a blameworthy judgment. It is so far precedent that to where she should be blameless.”

The media depicted Amanda Knox as a sex-crazed maniac. There also are several other questionable states of affairs in the case that are far too many to even begin to talk about.

While pending plea, the adolescent American girl is finishing correspondence classes from the University of Washington.  She’s established a substantial amount of hold up here in the states.
